Lee Filters LEE100 Filter Holder and Polariser

After 25 years of loyal service, the Lee Filters Foundation Kit is now retiring.
The new LEE100 Filter Holder is completely compatible with existing adapter rings and filters whilst also offering improved and new features for ease of use on location.

LEE100 Filter Holder’s Features:

New locking dial with 2 positions:
Position 1: securely locks the holder to the adapter ring.
Position 2: Locks the holder in position (no rotation), useful when setting up a big stopper or a polariser.
Made of glass filled nylon the holder is lightweight strong and robust.
New Guide system, now modular and tapered to maximise the use of ultra wide angle lenses. (No screwdriver required for altering the filter guide set up!) SEE PRICES

LEE100 Polariser and Polariser Ring

The way the polariser attaches to the holder has also been revisited. The new 105mm polariser ring screws on the polariser and together clip on and off the holder. If you already own the Lee polariser – just the new ring is required. No more screwdrivers! However, if purchasing the polariser in the future, the new LEE100 polariser is sold with the ring as one unit. The glass remains the same but the filter mount now features a knurled edging for easier rotation on location. SEE PRICES

New LEE100 Kits

As Lee Filters have replaced components from some of their kits, they have designed 3 new kits:

LEE100 Landscape Kit:

Includes the 100 Holder and a 0.6ND medium Grad. This is a perfect starter kit to start landscape photography. This filter offers many of the advantages of the soft but will have a harder edge to it. This makes it a great alternative to a soft filter when there is a scene that has a sky area but perhaps this is partially covered by the landscape or has a jagged horizon. This filter is soft enough to use over many smaller obstacles in the horizon but will also offer the strength of the filter in the area you need it which is often closer to the horizon. LEE100 Long Exposure Kit:

Lee Filters has put together a long exposure kit which includes: LEE100 filter holder, big stopper, little stopper, 0.6ND Grad Hard. Perfect kit to freeze and slow down movement. With a 0.6ND grad hard our most popular graduation and suits most scenes where there is a sky area but perhaps the horizon is partially covered by the landscape.
